Addiction Treatment Services in Sanger, California
Treatment programs in Sanger, California include both inpatient, outpatient and detoxification services. While not all services are necessary for every individual, it is best to learn a little bit more about treatment types before making a decision about your own requirements.
The first part of a treatment stay is typically a detoxification program. During a detoxification program, clients allow all drugs and alcohol to leave the body entirely. This allows them a fresh start and provides a clearer mind when treatment begins. The detox process takes place under the supervision of medically trained doctors and staff. This is important, as withdrawal symptoms from certain substances can be extreme – even life-threatening. The length and severity of withdrawal symptoms depend on a number of factors, including the type of substance being abused, the length of the addiction, and the severity of the addiction. During medically assisted detox programs, clients are given medications designed to help mitigate the symptoms of withdrawal.
After detox, clients typically enter into either inpatient or outpatient treatment. Inpatient programs involve living on the campus of the treatment center. This type of treatment is often beneficial for clients as they have fewer distractions and concerns with the outside world. During inpatient treatment, clients are fed, given a room to stay in, and enrolled in a number of different therapies and activities designed to help with treatment. In rehab, days are very structured and often include group therapy, one-on-one therapy, and fun activities for clients to take part in. Inpatient rehabilitation can be mixed-gender or gender-specific.
Outpatient programs are designed for those who are unable to stay on campus. Clients attend therapies and other programs during the day, and then return to their homes overnight. Outpatient programs have the potential to be as beneficial as inpatient programs when clients are dedicated to their own healing and wellbeing.
Most rehabilitation programs also provide aftercare to their clients. Aftercare programs often include therapy and other programs designed to keep clients on track after leaving their actual rehabilitation program.
When looking into rehabilitation centers or other treatment programs, be sure to ask about which of these services are provided and which programs would be best for you.
Should I Consider Traveling for Treatment?
Those seeking treatment should always consider traveling for a rehabilitation program. You never know which program will be your perfect match, so being willing to travel allows you to check out programs that are not necessarily close to home. Not only does traveling give you a new perspective of life in another area, it allows you to focus on your recovery away from home. Taking part in rehabilitation or treatment programs close to your home or within your local area often has a way of keeping you connected to your day-to-day life outside of treatment. This can only serve to distract those receiving treatment. Instead, consider traveling to somewhere new, where you can focus only on your treatment program. Distancing yourself from outside life helps the effectiveness of your treatment, allowing clients to create new habits and practice healthy coping skills in a fresh and more focused environment.
Choosing the Right Treatment Center
When it comes to choosing which types of treatment will work best for you, keep your individual needs in mind. There are many factors of treatment to consider. Would you like gender-specific treatment? Gender specific treatment programs are often considered more beneficial as romantic distractions are less likely to occur in these programs for heterosexual clients. Are you looking for a program that integrates therapies like CBT or adventure therapy?
In addition, consider the length of stay that is ideal for you. Stays of 30, 60, or 90 days are typically recommended for most addiction recovery programs, though shorter stays are possible in some programs.
Think about whether or not inpatient rehabilitation programs are an option for you. While these types of treatments are often ideal, they are not always practical for those with demanding jobs or children at home. For clients in these types of situations, outpatient programs can be a great form of treatment.
How Much Does Drug Rehab Cost in Sanger, CA?
The cost of treatment at a rehabilitation facility or through another treatment program can vary greatly depending upon a number of different factors.
First, the type of treatment must be considered. Inpatient treatment options tend to be more costly, as clients live at the treatment center campus. Outpatient therapies typically are less costly than inpatient stays.
If you plan on attending a detox program, the cost of treatment can be higher. Detox allows drugs and alcohol to leave the body completely while clients are under the watchful eye of medical professionals.
Programs with special therapies and other amenities can also add to the cost of treatment. While the cost of rehabilitation can range a considerable amount, there is always a way to cover treatment. While figuring out financing can be intimidating, insurance is often able to help cover or offset the cost of treatment. There are also other ways of covering the stay on your own. How to Pay for Drug Rehab in Sanger
There are a number of different ways to pay for your stay at a rehabilitation center. The most common way of covering the cost of treatment is through an insurance provider. When contacting your provider in regards to rehabilitation coverage, the first question to ask is if you have behavioral health coverage. Addiction treatment programs like rehabilitation are considered to be behavioral health issues, so without behavioral health coverage, the cost of treatment will fall on the client.
If you do have behavioral health coverage through your insurance provider, make sure to inquire whether your insurance plan is an HMO or PPO plan. Under HMO or Health Maintenance Organization plan, clients are able to access doctors and other health care services that are within a network of providers who work with insurance companies to lower costs. PPO plans or Preferred Provider Organizations allow clients to choose the doctor or facility which they would prefer, however out of pocket costs are usually higher than with HMO plans. What if I Don't Have Insurance Coverage?
If you don't have an insurance plan, or the insurance you do have doesn't cover behavioral health services, you do have a number of options when it comes to paying for your rehab stay or other addiction treatment.
The first option for paying for treatment without insurance is paying out of pocket. While paying out of pocket can seem intimidating, it is a viable option for covering treatment. Out of pocket costs are at times able to be set up as a payment plan, which involves making payments to your treatment center on a regular basis.
Another option for paying for treatment is to reach out to those around you and ask for assistance. When addiction occurs and becomes severe, friends and family are often well aware of the need for treatment. In difficult times it is likely they may be able to provide some assistance with the financial aspect of treatment.

Yes, we believe that mental health and addiction are best treated together as they have the same root cause. When mental health issues are identified as causing continued addiction and not treated together individuals are not receiving a complete continuum of care. At My Time Recovery we believe if you are struggling with addiction as well as mental health issues, you need a dual diagnosis program to properly recover, without this the addict may fall into a relapse more easily than if admitted to a proper program with access to a medical doctor, psychologist, and trained clinicians.
