Diasha Goins received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and Conflict Resolution and Peacemaking in 2014, Masters of Arts Degree in Psychology as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 2020.
Before completing her degree, Diasha worked in in the mental health field with severely mentally ill (SMI) clients, as a Bereavement Counselor and as a child psychologist. In the 10+ years working in the field, Diasha has become certified as a evidenced based WRAP (Wellness Recovery Action Plan) facilitator, Mental Health First Aid, Trauma Focused-CBT and VORP (Victim Offender Reconciliation Program).
Diasha is currently in the Doctoral Program at Northcentral University and upon completion, will ascertain a Doctoral of Marriage and Family Therapist degree. Diasha has always had a devotion for helping others. With 15 years of recovery herself, Diasha wants to bring hope, compassion, and belief to others that they, too, can transform their lives.
