Dr. Matthew Tatum

Executive Director

Dr. Matthew Tatum received his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Rosemead School of Psychology. Early in his career, he played a key role in helping develop two integrated behavioral health departments for Federally Qualified Health Centers in Fresno County. In 2015 he assumed the Executive Director role at a drug and alcohol treatment center, developing the program into the county’s largest private drug and alcohol treatment center. Expanding services such as this is a passion and life’s work for Dr. Tatum.

Felipe Coronel

Client Care Director

Felipe Coronel is the Client Care Director at My Time Recovery, he attended Cuyamaca Community College and San Diego State University. He began his career in the AODS / Social Services community as a youth counselor. Mr. Coronel is a licensed Substance Abuse Counselor as well as a Certified Anger Management Facilitator. Felipe is a member of NAADAC, and the Association of Christian Counselors. He is providing Chemical Dependency, Anger Management, and Faith Based Recovery services in Spanish and English. Mr. Coronel provides services for both court-referred clients, and self-referrals. Felipe brings more than 20 years of experience in the chemical dependency and anger management field, working with adults, adolescents, and families. LAADC,ICADC,CADC II, CSAC II, ADCII, CAMF


Brandi Jordan

Clinical Outpatient Program Director

Brandi has a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy and is currently pursuing her Doctorate Degree in General Psychology. She is a LMFT, LAADC, and a certified animal assisted therapist (CAATP). Brandi has experience working in both public and private sectors within the addiction and mental health fields.

Justin Carter

Outpatient Director

Justin Carter has been working in the field of substance use disorders for about 6 years. Justin has worked as a substance abuse counselor, worked as a vocational counselor, and was a coordinator of a men’s program prior to joining the team at My Time Recovery as Outpatient Director. Justin has been complimented on his ability to build rapport, and meet each person with compassion and understanding. Justin maintains a high level of professionalism and care in guiding each client within their appropriate level of care. Justin has his Associates Degree in Substance Abuse Counseling and is working in completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Correctional Management and Support Services. Justin also serves is on the Board of Directors for Lighthouse Sober Living in Santa Barbara California. General Psychology. She is a LMFT, LAADC, and a certified animal assisted therapist (CAATP). Brandi has experience working in both public and private sectors within the addiction and mental health fields.

Christie Dooley

Associate Marriage and Family Therapist AMFT97338

Christie Dooley received her Masters of Arts Degree in Psychology as a Marriage and Family Therapist from Brandman University. While completing her Masters Degree, Christie worked as a Therapist Trainee at the Salvation Army ARC Program in Fresno. In 2016, Christie became a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist and began working in the private practice sector. In 2018, she returned to the substance abuse treatment population in Kings County. Christie has completed her internship as a Registered Marriage and Family Therapist and is currently working on becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Christie holds certifications in; Prolonged Exposure Therapy for PTSD, Helping Victims of Crime Heal, Mental Health First Aid, and ASIST. Christie joined the My Time Recovery team because providing support, and working with individuals, couples and families afflicted by this disease is important work and a passion of hers.


Nickie Matus

Associate Clinical Social Worker

Nickie Matus, Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW 92141), has been working in the field of substance use disorder treatment since 2008. Her therapy practice is informed by multiple frameworks, including: Resiliency Theory, Narrative Theory, Strengths Perspective, Systems Theory, and Trauma Informed Care. Nickie holds both bachelor and master’s degrees in social work from Humboldt State University, and an associate degree in human services with a concentration in drug and alcohol counseling from Fresno City College. In addition, she is a California state certified alcohol and drug counselor with international reciprocity (CADC II & ICADC), through the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals (CCAPP).
